No monthly subscription option with a student discount

My Question or Issue

When I go to https://www.spotify.com/in/student/verification/, I don't see an option to subscribe for a monthly plan, only one-time payment for a month (see attached image).

So, how can I get a monthly subscription with a student discount?

Hey there! I had the same issue but the solution is that there is no solution. If you want then you have to use the prepay plan. This is known to the team, I have talked to them and they have said it would be fixed but there is no ETA.

Could you try this in an incognito browser? You can also try a different device altogether and let me know if you're able to use recurring payment methods there. Also, there are some payment cards that are not enabled for recurring payments. To make sure yours is eligible for recurring payments and if it's not you can try a different payment method.

I am facing this exact same issue. I have tried using incognito browser, a different browser and a different device as well. I cannot see the option anywhere. 😕

Can you upload a screenshot of how the subscription page looks on your end with all the options you see as available.

This is an expected behavior. You can click on the "Get Premium" in order to active Premium for Students. 

 

In case you get an error message after clicking on the button let us know. We'll look into this further.

Sorry, but I don't want to buy a 66 INR one month plan. I want to opt for the 59 INR monthly recurring plan, which is not present on this screen when it should be. As the OP has posted, the monthly plan option is not being shown on this page. That is the problem.

In case there are no other payment options available, it could be because of the the fact that this type of product change isn't supported for the time being.
