Not given option to renew discount after two years

Not given option to renew discount after two years

I got an email today telling me that my Premium for Students discount expires in a month and that I should reverify if I'm still a student. The problem is, when I try to go to the renewal page, it doesn't give me the option to verify. It just says I'm verified as a student until 9/19/2024. I went back and checked my billing and my first bill was on 9/22/2022 so I haven't had the discount for longer than 4 years. Anyone have any idea why it isn't giving me the option to reverify my student status? Did they send that email too soon and I just need to wait a little bit to reverify or is there something wrong with my account? I know for a fact that it hasn't been more than 4 years because of the billing start date and I found an email from 9/22/23 with the subject line "Happy 1-Year Anniversary with Spotify".

It's possible that there is too much time remaining on the current verification and that's why you can't submit another one yet. Consider waiting until September rolls around and then trying the process again. If the issue persists, let us know so we can investigate further for you 🙂
