Reverified

I received an email to reverify my student discount but it is not giving me any option to verify and the only thing in my account is the date my account was verified as a student. Does anyone know how I can reverify it again?

Thanks for reaching out.

 

You can try renewing your student discount directly from your account page. If you haven’t already, it’s worth giving that a shot. Additionally, you can take a look at this support article for more guidance: https://support.spotify.com/article/renew-student-discount/.

 

If you’re still running into issues, please try using an incognito window or a different device. If the reminder email just arrived recently, you might also want to try renewing closer to the expiration date of your current discount.

I am having the same issue and switching browsers/devices did not help. There is nowhere to click to re-verify. I hope to be notified if you get an answer.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing this issue. If you have followed all of the steps that @Maxim provided, you may have to get in touch with Support. SheerID manages the entire verification process, so the best place for help is on their verification FAQ page, or open a ticket with their support team.

My Question or Issue

I've just received the email that tells me I need to reverify my student status but I don't know how. When I click on the link provided to me in the email it just sends me to my account settings overview page. When I click to manage my plan I see nothing about reverifying and when I decide to click the get discount button it just sends me back to my account settings overview. I decided to look up SheerID myself and put in all my information but it told me that my verification limit exceeded even though this would be my 2nd year using the student plan. Am I suppose to cancel my plan and sign back up to it to renew my student status? I've also tried doing this on my phone (Iphone 12 mini, IOS 18.1.1) and I had the same results.
