Signing up for student discount

Signing up for student discount

Tried signing up for student discount with my university but receive this error. 

  • Unfortunately, we couldn't confirm that you're a student.
    Please check your details and try again.

    If we still can't confirm your details, you won't be charged.
    Any pending charges on your card statement will disappear in a few days.

Hello @bailey03n1!

 

There could be a few reasons why you might be getting this message. Please check to make sure:

 

  • you’re currently enrolled in an accredited college or university

And...

  • If you already subscribe to Premium through a company other than Spotify (e.g. with your internet/mobile provider or with iTunes) you need to cancel your existing subscription

I just created the account and my school shows up on the drop down list

And just to clarify,

  1. You are registering through this page?
  2. And the documentation you submitted contains these requirements:
  • Your Full name
  • An issue date within the current term
  • The full name of the college/university you are currently attending
  • Your document must be school issued
  • Some examples of acceptable documentation are a class schedule, transcript, registration or tuition receipt, or a student ID if an issue date of the current term is displayed
