Spotify payment issue

Spotify payment issue

I have been using Spotify premium student plan with recurring payment and then suddenly on February 10th they changed my student plan to premium individual plan. This is not acceptable, so that is why I'm requesting Spotify to give me an extra month of premium or give me a refund to my account.

Sounds like your student discount has expired. It lasts for 12 months and when it expires, your plan switches automatically from Premium Student to Premium Individual. No worries though, if you're eligible for another year, you can renew your discount by following the steps in this article. Note that you can have up to 4 years of Premium Student.

 

Your student discount will be reapplied once you reverify your student status with SheerID. You'll then receive a confirmation email from them - just follow the steps in it and reenter your payment details to change your plan back to Premium Student and finalize the process.

 

As for your second request, it's best you reach out to the folks over at Customer Support as they have access to the necessary tools to look further into this.
