My Question or Issue

I've been having an issue with my Spotify student discount. I have had Spotify since November 2017, I then activated my student discount in March 2018. I got a notification in November of 2019 to say I was no longer legible for student discount. My memory and sense of time are both terrible and I just assumed I had my discount for 4 years at this point, however I have since looked at my receipts and realised I am still legible.

Any time I try to switch subscriptions it informs me I've had it too long.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey karla,

Premium Student is valid for 12 months from the date you signed up.

When the student discount expires, your plan automatically continues at the standard rate for Premium Individual unless you cancel or apply for another year (with a 4 year limit).

To renew your student discount, go to www.spotify.com/student and log in to your school portal or upload proof of enrollment.

Syed rahmath ali

Once you renew, you get the discounted rate for another 12 months.

So, here you need to renew it every year the discount and even you would have received the warning mails regarding this .

Hi Syed,

I understand the process of re-applying, however my Spotify account will not allow me to re-apply. It keeps stating that I have had it for the maximum amount of time allowed. However, as per my receipts, I have only had student discount from March 2018-November 2019.

Thanks,

Karla
