Student Discount charged immediately w/o verification

Hi, 

I am a student and I have logged in using my gmail I'd and tried to register and it charged me $5.34 by leaving a error message saying sorry "unable to verify the student information" and I have logged out and logged in with my student mail and charged the same amount $5.34 by leaving the same error message.

The email address I have used in this process are

In this case, the charge should show on your statement as ‘pending’. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken because Spotify has not yet verified your student status.
