Student Discount

Hi,
I'm currently a student and have the fill subscription plan, intendeing to switch to the student discount. In payment for the student discount (AUS) it only allows for direct card payment - not paypal. Is this always the case or should I be waiting for a bit to be able to use my paypal account for this? Thankyou!

Spotify will show all of the available payment methods when it asks for a payment:

https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/subscription_information/payment-methods/

Payment methods vary by country and some payment methods might not be available with all subscription types (family, student, etc).

Since the student discount just launched in more countries, it could be that credit card is the only option right now for those countries and could expand to more options in the future.

Hi Matt,

I have signed up to change to a student subscription (AUS) and put the info for the credit card info - but have yet to have the opening by the Sheer ID or an email to confirm the change to student subsription. How long does this normally take? 

Do I need to do anything differently?

Similar issue here. 

I've already a premium account but want to roll over to a student account. Would I be double-booking myself by signing up for this? Do I need to cancel my current subscription? If not, when will I get billed at the new student rate?
