My Question or Issue

Good afternoon, 

I have Student Plan in Spotify since 2022 and as I read, that discount is for 4 years.

I have an email where Spotify can check that I'm using this plan since 2022, but they are saying to me all the time that I'm using the plan since 2020 and it's not right. 

I have in my bank account the first bill where I paid the Student plan and of course, I have in my email the first free month when you enter to the plan and next month an email where they confirmed me that I'm using Student Plan. So, I'm using this type of plan since 2 years ago and I don't how to explain in best w

Please tell me where exactly Spotify says you've been using Premium Student since 2020. 🙂

First of all, thanks for your reply, I appreciate it!

One girl from support center sent me this answer:

“Thank you for staying in touch with us.
with us.
These are the details of the 4 years of
student discount that were active on your account:
- 10/November/2020 to 09/November/2021
- 09/December/2021 to 08/December/2022.
- 08/December/2022 to 07/December/2023
- 17/January/2024 to 15/January/2025.
Please note that the date on which the discount is purchased or renewed is different from the activation or expiry date of the subscriptions.
It is possible that in 2020 and 2021 you renewed your student discount, but activated your subscription and made use of it for the first time in 2022.”


But as I wrote in the original post, I have an email with the approved verification on Nov 25th and a few minutes later an email with the first bill.

In this case, I’d recommend reaching out to Spotify Support again directly, just like you did before. Make sure to share the additional details you’ve mentioned here so they can take a closer look.

 

Since the Community doesn’t have access to the backstage area of any account, we’re unable to dig into this the way Support can.
