Student discount even though I am a student at two listed universities

I am a student at the university of Virginia and I have an account with that email but it does not verify that I am a student. I also was a student at the University of Mary Washington, but that also did not give me the student discount.specifically it says it cannot verify my student information. I have been charged twice and still am not able to get the student discount and the premium service. I have friends from both universities who have Spotify student discounts. Why does mine not work and is there a way to fix this. I have made account Spotify accounts with both University emails. I don't have a subscription through iTunes or any other company. Why is this happening and what about the ten dollars it charges me for the two student discount attempts.

In this case, it's very likely just a pending charge if you haven't received a receipt from Spotify via Email. There's more info about this here.

We use the good folks at SheerID to verify your student credentials. The verification can take a few days. If you’re having trouble signing up, you can submit for manual verification here. As a head's up, this can take up to 12 hours to process.
