I just got an email that said that I was excepted and eligible for student discounts and that I could login and start listening to add free music and I could download music and listen off-line. I logged in on the app and it’s still saying that I only have the free version I don’t want to pay for something I can’t even use!!!

Just to make sure, when you go to https://spotify.com/account/subscription/ in an incognito/private browsing window, it shows that you've got the Spotify Premium for Students deal?

If there is a payment that shows as 'pre-auth' or 'pending', it means that a transaction has been made, but no money has actually been exchanged. Within about 48 business hours, the transaction should either disappear, show as cancelled or be successful! 🙂

It has been 48 business hours in my account still says that I have the free version this is getting ridiculous that I have to pay for something that I can’t even use

Has the transaction from Spotify has gone through on your bank account? If so, have you tried logging out then back into the app? 🔍

Yes it has been taken out and yes I have I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the app nothings working

If the payment's been successfully processed, you should be on Premium. To double-check you're logging in to the account you've subscribed on, I'd recommend taking a look at this article: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/account_help/do-i-have-an-additional-account/
If you're logging in with your email, or Facebook for example, can you try with your username and password instead?
