Student status but paying 10€

Two months ago I was asked to verify my student status after the first twelve months period. I did that and everything went fine, at least I got no error message. However I get charged 10€ instead of 5€.

The site about the student discount says it is renewable, so I wanted to ask what the issue could be? I already tried to renew the subscription, but now it doesn't accept my payment method.

Hey @9t2-ush_0mvmb,

Have you ever received an email from SheerID confirming your eligibility?

If so, please follow the steps on the email sent and add your payment info again.

You should check these payment requirements first.

If you didn't receive an email, it can take up to 28 days for your student credentials to be verified.

You should also check out this support article when you get in trouble with your student account again 🙂

thanks for your help - much appreciated.

Well, I did not receive such an email, however neither did I when I signed up the first time for the student subscription via Unidays.

 

Anyway, it worked now - don't know why, didn't do anything different than the first five tries.
