Switching to student discount

I originally signed up for spotify before I was in college. Recently I tried to switch my old email address on the account to my current University one and it worked. Whenever I try to sign up for the student discount I get redirected to sign up for spotify overall and re-enter my credit card info. Do I do that or is there another way to update to the student premium?

That's the normal process for getting the Student Discount. You won't be able to get it if you don't enter your payment method info again 🙂 This is so that Spotify can make sure that your info is still up to date 🙂
