Transfering student discount to another account

So basically I made a mistake and bought a student discount for an account that I never use (and can't delete; I forgot I still had it). Is it possible to transfer that discount to my main Facebook account? 

I also tried cancelling the discount on the 'bad' account and applied for the discount with my FB account, but it said "You have already redeemed this offer". Did I royally mess up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @lorblet,

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to apply it to your new/correct account until 12 months have elapsed since you signed up for it.
