Tried for the student plan, got charged twice and still didn't even get premium

I tried to get the student plan for spotify premium. On my bank statement it charged me twice 4.99 and then all I get is a message saying they'll verify me within 3 days. I don't even get to use spotify while I wait to be verified? Highly disatisfied with how this worked out.

No matter if student verification was successful or failed, a temporary charge goes through. These are only temporary charges on your credit card and they should disappear in a few days if you are not successfully verified. The only charge that you actually have to pay for is if you were successfully verified for the student discount.
