Unable to renew my student subscription - Help

Hello,

I am a full-time student studying in Alberta. I am currently on a co-op position in Quebec, however, I am not considered a Quebec resident and I still pay tuition to the University of Alberta.

When I go to the student discount page on Spotify, it says I am not eligible. I believe this is probably because it senses that my laptop is in Quebec right now. 

Should I wait until I'm back in Alberta in 3 months to renew my subsription and just cancel my premium in the meantime? 

I appreciate any advice!

Hey @HopeK Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Since you are still in Canada it shouldnt lock you out from the access you get in Canada. You are still in the country but in a different province, so that shouldnt be an issue. What would recommend is actually try canceling your premium and then apply for the student discount again. It could be that you might not have reconfirmed your student id with SheerID confirmation email. If that still doesnt work out let me know. 🙂
