Verified student in Ireland but can't pay with Google Pay

My Question or Issue

Hi all, I have a free plan and I got verified again for Student Premium yesterday afternoon. After I got verified, I went to pay for my subscription and wanted to pay with google pay (phone credit) but wouldn't allow me to. The only methods I can see in my screen is either credit/debit card or PayPal. Can someone help? 

Small note: before getting verified as a student, I was able to see the Google Pay method on my Spotify.

Unfortunately, not all payment methods are available for all plans 🙂 If the payment method you'd like to use isn't being listed on the payment page, it's currently unavailable.
