Why can't I change my plan to Premium Student?

I have been trying to switch plans to Premium Student but get an error message every time. My university is listed as an option in the menu section, and when I clicked this and typed in my university email it said the verification had been successful. However as soon as I get to the next page it says I am ineligible. I have never had a Student Premium plan before but have been a paying customer for years. Please can someone look into this?

Hi there,

 

Thanks for reaching out. What's the exact error you get? If you get a message saying you cannot use Student when you try to update the subscription, then consider checking your current subscription. If you have a Family plan, sometimes changing from Family to Student directly isn't possible. Try cancelling your existing Family subscription, waiting for your account to revert to free and then resubscribing for Student. Alternatively, try changing the subscription in an incognito window.
