student account already being used?

student account already being used?

I am trying to upgrade my account from free to premium for students. I've entered my unviersity information but Spotify says that it is already registered to another account. I know for a fact that I have never used my university information for another account and I do not know how to fix this. The website is no help. Any information would be great, thank you!

Hey @juliegarv, welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

All you need to do is get in contact with Spotify support and their Accounts team can take a look backstage. The easiest way to contact them is by messaging SpotifyCares on Facebook or Twitter. They usually respond within 48 hours!
