student discount paymet method Netherlands

Hey guys, I am using spotify premium for more then a year now and I started to pay with Ideal in the Netherlands. So today I saw the student discount and decided to change from normal permium to student premium, but each time I want to change it I have to give my creditcard number. I dont have a creditcard number? Only Ideal. So why can I use normal premium with Ideal as payment method, but the student version can only be activated with a creditcard, while the student version is also available since today.

can you use paypal? I only can choose creditcard as method, eventhough I choose the Netherlands as country. Cant even choose paypal

only for normal premium you can use paypal, for the student discount it only shows creditcard

Thanks for your comments. Sorry to know that the upgrade hasn't been successful so far for you guys.

I'm afraid the option to pay through PayPal and iDeal is not available right now. Only bank cards are accepted during the initial rollout of the student discount plan in all new countries.
