switching to student discount

if i already have the generic premium, can i switch to the student one? if so, will it charge me again for the same month. i'm still a student so this would be helpful for me

Hi @nmknmk1! It is certainly possible to switch over to a student discount if you're already on a regular subscription, and you can do it by visiting this page. Since you’re transitioning over from a regular subscription, you’ll see the new price kick in the next time your subscription renews.

You will not be charged again for the same month, but instead be charged the new, reduced rate for the following month. Please note that you may likely see a pre-authorization charge put on your card when attempting to switch over.
