Spotify’s clear disillusion with audiobooks and how they will destroy the good name of audio books

Anyone else get a feeling like Spotify is just using authors now to exploit them and their user base for more money? Isn’t it bad enough the rate for Spotify keeps going up? I resubscribed for casual audio listening but to be given only 15 hours of listening time for books then having to either “subscribe” again on top of your subscription or you can purchase hours or even minutes of listening, I think that’s a horrible display of how this company is going to act moving forward, soulless corporations

AHHHH FINALLY CHECKED IT 14.99 for an additional 10 hours of listening good lord that is awful time to go back to illegally downloading music and books just horrendous

Clever guy you are. Maybe it’s time to move on? I think a good indicator is that you chose to name your profile basically “I hate this company so much I want to create an identity out of it but I choose to pay them still because I am a dumb, dumb human being.”

Agree. I was on final chapters of a book today and the system just shut down. Not willing to pay additional on top of premium. Lend titles, not time.
