My app quota approval process

Hello fellow developers 🙂

Since my app recently launched, I wanted to share my quota approval process for those who are still in the process.

I started working on the app concept about a year ago, we worked with the basic quota and it was enough for dev purposes. We used the Anroid and Web SDKs alternatively to find which worked best.

Once the app was ready in terms of the SDK use cases I submitted it to Spotify for approval while continuing to work on UX issues (All of the app functionalities were done so Spotify could review it).

After some time (between a month to two months) I got an update in the Spotify developer console that the app is being reviewed (I Didn't see any email about it, I found out when looking at the dashboard).

One month later I got an email notification that the quota extension was approved, there was no other communication during the review process.

Note that I use a limited set of API calls and no music streaming, so it probably made the case more simple for approval.
