Ads kept playing when I was listening to music even though I had Premium Mini

It happened on Macbook M1 & Window 10 PC Spotify App

Try logging into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

After that, check the status of your subscription. If everything looks ok, logout of the app in your device, and be sure to use that username, instead of your email address, to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

This started happening to me too a few days ago, and it seems that this was intentional since they said that Premium Mini was just for "1 mobile device" and probably not for laptops or PC's. I was hoping that it was just a bug, but I'm starting to doubt it since it's happening to more people now.

Have the same promblem. My dad has his tablet for spotify mini. It has ads and we don’t know why.

As @Popcorn357 has mentioned - Spotify Mini is a Premium plan for a single mobile device only.

With the usual Premium plans though, you get the ad-free experience on all devices.
