Can't submit payment for ecard

I've spent the past few days trying to purchase a 6 month Spotify premium ecard for my gf because her birthday's coming up soon but nothing I've tried has worked. 

 

After I input my details and attempt to finalize the purchase I'm met with the same error message. 

  • Oops, seems your card or payment provider is having a bad day. Don't worry, no money has been charged. Try again or use another payment method.

I've done some digging and found many others with the same problem and have already tried to solve it with spotify's payment troubleshooting help to no avail. Just to clarify I've already waited a few days before trying to make the purchase again, I've tried different payment methods, my credit card (which is Swirl) has no problems purchasing anything anywhere else and it was registered in the same country that my Spotify account was set to and I've even gone to the trouble of contacting my card provider. If anyone else has dealt with this problem in the past I would seriously appreciate some help.

Thanks for the response, I really appreciate it but unfortunately still no luck. At this point I've more or less tried every suggested solution to no avail, I think I'll just give it up and opt to get another gift..

Does your payment card meet these requirements? If it does, try using an incognito window or a different browser over here, and let us know how it goes.

I have the same problem when I try to take the 6 months premium giftcard
