Am I gonna get a refund if I just cancel my subscription.

I have cancelled subscription, but I was charged today. Can I get a refund please as I no longer need tithes for another month? 

Good day Community I wanted a bit of assistance with my spotify subscription fee, I paid for my other email account unknowingly and I immediately canceled and logged out the account and now I've been trying to contact spotify for help with getting a refund so I'd pay the official email account, 

Please help 😞

Thank you for your replies. Since this thread appears to be getting some more attention, we'll gladly help clear out some confusion.

 

Firstly, be advised that if a payment has already been processed, cancelling the subscription will not refund this payment and your Premium will instead remain active until the next billing date. Any and all refund requests are handled via our support team, you can reach out to them at any time. Be advised that refunds can only be processed within a brief timeframe after the date of purchase. Make sure to have all of your payment information on hand, as our team will need it to find the payments and verify you as the account owner.

i was debited on failed payment

Thanks for your reply in this thread. 

 

First up, we'd recommend making sure the payment was successful or if it's pending. If your Spotify payment is marked as 'pending' on your bank statement, it might not have gone through successfully. When you submit a payment, your bank puts the funds aside as ‘pending’. If the payment fails, the pending status will expire and the funds will be returned to you.

 

Now, if the payment was indeed successful, you might have another account and your Premium time is there. You can check if you have more than one account on Spotify by following these specific steps. We recommend logging out and back in with any other email you have, Facebook, Google, or phone number (if that option is available in your region).
