Charged twice a month for one account??/Problem solved

Charged twice a month for one account??/Problem solved

Hi!

I've noticed that there is a double payment regarding the Spotify Premium from my bank account. This has started when I first ordered the premium (May 2017) and has been going on ever since, total for 18 months now. Payment has been made on two different dates. I have only one Spotify profile/username, my friends or family are not using my card details. How on earth can this be possible?

And please do not send me an answer like this since NONE of the belowmentioned steps work or apply to me:

"Welcome to the Spotify Community. Sorry to hear you're being double charged!

We recommend you check out this page and go through the steps. Since you mention you've been paying double, make sure to read through the 'Paying more than once a month' section. These steps should definitely help you out.

It would also be good to check out this article on how to find the possible second account.

To change the billing date, check out what to do in this article."

- I DO NOT have a second account OR second e-mail

- I am using the same e-mail with FB that I use with Spotify so no double accounts there either (mind you, IF logging into Spotify with my e-mail AND/OR my facebook account results into getting double charged, this should not result into double payment as there is only one person: ME who's using it so still only ONE Spotify account)

- I checked, I have not logged in into Spotify through FB

- I haven't used Spotify on computer or Android tablet or any of the sort

So, what's the problem and how to solve it? Obviously, I would want the extra payments returned or equal amount of free Premiums. 18 months times 9,99€ is quite an amount to pay for nothing...

NOTE: This problem has been solved now!

Note: I'm not a Spotify employee.

i think i have also the same situation, I am paying for 3 Spotify premium accounts, 1 for my brother and one for myself, i cannot track the other payment. I believe i am paying double since i change it from facebook for a normal account.

but when i log in with facebook then it says that i do not have an account.
Would it be possible for Spotify to cancel my accounts and maybe get the money in free Spotify premium months for my account, I have been paying this extra since February 2018

Hi @jcondori,

To trace back and act on the source of these unexpected charges, please take a look at the suggestions in "Do you have more than one Premium account?", which you'll find under the More help section of this article.

Hope this works for you. Keep us updated and let us know if we can help you any further!
