Do remaining months adds up in yearly subscription?

My Question or Issue

Apparently I still have ~3 months left on my yearly individual subscription. So will the remaining months adds up if I renew the same subscription now? Will it be 3+12= 15 months if I renew?

I don't think that the subscription will add up to 15 months, so I would recommend renewing when it's close to the expiration date of your current yearly subscription.
