Duo plan address verification is not working

Duo plan address verification is not working

I signed up for the Duo plan through my account. I set the address and sent the invitation link to my partner but after entering the same address it shows an error saying "You need to live at the same address. it looks like you're trying to join from a different country..." We are currently in the same location. What might the issue be?

Hey there,

 

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

 

If the process is showing you a country error, it's possible that one of you may have a different country registered on the account. So first, we'd recommend checking the country set on your accounts by following the steps mentioned in this link to make sure they match. 

 

Also, if any of you are using a VPN, since it changes your current location, we'd also suggest turning it off and trying again. It's also worth accepting the invite from an incognito/private window to see if it makes any difference.
