Error subscribing without a Trial on new account

Error subscribing without a Trial on new account

Hiyo,

 

So I'm having trouble with some subscription options for my account. I had an older Spotify account that I wanted to get rid of and transfer my Student subscription over from to a newer one, was tired of the old account and how cluttered it was.

 

I easily made a new account and deleted the old one, however now when I go to sign up for Spotify Student, and enter in my payment information, I keep getting an error that says I can sign up for a Student subscription, but not a Student subscription WITH a trial, as I have used the trial in the past an another account. However, no link is provided to direct me signing up for a Student subscription that doesn't have a trial tied to it. Right now, when I go to enter in my payment info, all I am getting is the message:

 

"Something went wrong. Try again, or get help."

 

All my card info is good, and the payment page states I am verified to use the Student Subscription through next year.

 

Any help would be great!

thanks for reaching out !

 

As you created a Premium Student account and have changed / deleted it, these changes may have been interfering with the creating of a new one as the process of Premium students holds many authentications.

 

Please reach out to the support team through this "About Us" page and have them take a closer look.

 

Bear in mind that due to the current Covid-19 global situation, it might take them more time to respond.
