I signed up, now how do i listen to music?

I signed up and have started my premiun account. Now it shows that I am logged in but I can't seem to find the music. I just keep getting ads to upgrade to premium family. Is there a video that walks you through how to use Spotify? It seems pretty user unfriendly at the moment as I have yet to access any music. Do I have to download something onto the computer before it works?
