Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

The minimum age to use a regular Spotify account is 13, with parental consent. This is outlined in Spotify’s Terms and Conditions.

For younger listeners, Spotify Kids might be a great option. It’s specifically designed for children and offers a safe environment with age-appropriate content. You can find more details about it here.

There’s also a Parental Guide in the Safety & Privacy Center, which might be useful in navigating Spotify’s features for your child.

Hope this helps! 🙂

Appreciate the response to the OP, but you didn't address the main question regarding discount for non-college students (i.e. still student, but not at college age)

Hey there @natbuk2,

Thanks for posting in this thread!

To add to the info mentioned by @Maxim, Premium Student is available only for eligible college/university students. This means that if you're currently not a student enrolled at a accredited college or university, you won't be able to apply for the discount at the moment. Feel free to have a look at this article for more details, if you'd like.

We can still recommend that you have a look at the Premium page, should you be interested in starting a subscription. There you can find all offers and plans available for you. For example, if you're living together with other family members, you might want to check Premium Family 🙂

We hope this clears things up, cheers!
