My card was charged with Spotify Stockholm SE which I did not subscribe

Solved!

My card was charged with Spotify Stockholm SE which I did not subscribe

I was being charged with Stockholm SE on my credit card. I have not used my credit card to do any Spotify payment before, and I have checked my spotify account, there was no card linked to it.

Hey there,

Thsnks for coming to the Community.

If you believe that there are unauthorized transactions (which aren't pending), feel free to reach out to Support so that they can look into it: https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/ 🙂

Hey folks,

Thanks for all your replies and for the info shared here.

Most likely your card is linked to an active Spotify Premium account if you're seeing Spotify charges you don't recognize. This could happen in the following scenarios:

  • You've subscribed to a Spotify Premium trial with your payment details and have not canceled the subscription within the trial period. In this case, you can log into your Spotify account and follow these steps to cancel the subscription and avoid further charges.
    • Note: If you don't find the Premium account, keep in mind that there are a few ways to sign up, ex. with email, phone number, Apple, or Google. Try logging in with these or follow these steps to find the account.
  • A family member or a friend might have used your card to subscribe to Spotify. We'd suggest you go through the steps in this support article for more info.
  • Your payment method is being used by an unauthorized third party.

If you are certain that you haven't signed up for Spotify Premium yourself, it's best you contact our Customer Support team by following the steps here, and provide them with info about the unauthorized charges. They should be able to help further.

Hope this info helps.

Hi there @Drarosiramos,

Thanks for the post.

Hope you don't mind us replying in English, as that's the official language of the Community!

You can visit this support article for more instructions on what can be done in this case. There you'll find instructions on how to close the subscription in order to avoid further charges in the future.

Here you can review Spotify's refund policy.

Hope this helps.

Are you new to the Community? Take a moment to introduce yourself!

how did you solve it?

Spotify Stockholm is just the entity used to renew your subscription - it should match up to your subscription fee.  if it does, it shouldn't be a concern.

Even it happened with me. I downloaded the Spotify app for free trial. There was not any card linked to my Iphone. How did you manage to get my card info. and you took money without any consent. Strange.

A premien payment has been escalated from my bank account but I do not know where is going. I do not even have a mail with the confirmation of the payment and my account still not premium though.

Me too ,what is this happening?
