No free trial without a credit card?

Solved!

No free trial without a credit card?

Hi!

In 2012 there was no way of getting the three free months without a credit card or PayPal. Is this still so?

No my first Premium-month is paid by giftcard (in Finland), but I still think I too would be worth those three months.

Thank you!

A

Hey @aifos, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

For free trials, you still need to enter a valid payment method to sign up. This is so Spotify can confirm your country or region and process payments if you want to keep Premium after the trial ends. There's more information on the available plans here.

Hope this helps! I'll be here if you need anything else.

Thank you for your quick answer! I guess there is nothing to do then.

There are people that cannot get credit cards or Paypal (because they have a legal guardian or something like that), that unfortunately always miss out of things like this. It is sad.
