Not all of my albums are showing!

Hello,

all of albums suddenly stopped showing in the Albums section using the Spotify Desktop and app for computer, this problem has only been happening a few days ago only from today 21/9/2019. but all songs are showing in the Song section

i have a free account but i havent been  subscribed in over 6 months, this never happened to me.

what is going on!!

Howdy!

To my knowledge, and I am not a spotify employee so take this with a grain of salt, the album and artist sections on mobile now only show albums or artists that you have added (ie artists you have followed and albums that you have saved), not albums that you have saved songs from or artists that you have saved songs from. This was part of the new update. On the computer application the artists tab has not updated to this new system, but the albums section has. Therefore the albums section shows the list from the new update, and the artists shows the old updates artist list.

If you are not happy with this change (and many of us aren't) please give your feedback to Spotify.

You're absolutely right! I just tested saving an album and it showed up, as opposed to only saving a song from an album (bec that doesnt work anymore)

I'm so upset because i'm gonna have to save every album all over again, but atleast I can rest in peace now without racking my brain as to why this has happened.

I've made an idea submission to make the album and artist tabs have a drop down menu that would function the way the old artsit and album tabs worked. Hopefully they use the idea or something similar. I'm in a similar boat, I no longer have any artists or albums on those tabs (despite a bit over 3.5K songs) and I've been really bummed about it.
