Only offers family sub when renewing

Only offers family sub when renewing

I'm trying to update my card details to be able to continue my premium subscription, however it states that I can no longer have the 9,99€ a mointh option and I HAVE to have the family option for 14,99€ a month. I am the only one who uses Spotify in my house, why is the previous option no longer available for me?

Welcome to the community!

 

First up, can you try following the exact steps listed below to update your payment details?

 

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Select Subscription in the menu on the left. 
  3. Under Payment method, click UPDATE.
  4. Choose your payment method at the top and fill in the details. 
  5. Click CHANGE PAYMENT DETAILS to confirm.

Your changes will take effect on your next payment.

 

Note: If you subscribed to Spotify through a 3rd-party (such as iTunes or your mobile provider), you’ll need to contact them to change your details.
