Paying when not subscribed

Paying when not subscribed

I have been charged $9.99 twice now, once on May 25th and once on June 26th. I never bought premium so, I don't know why I'm being charged. Is there anyway you can help me find out why I am being charged and refund my money?

Hey @syd1642

Did you get email receipts from those subscription purchases? Search for one of them in your email account. In it, the Spotify username you paid for is shown:

Username/ID: xxxxxxx

If you're getting charged, it probably means you're paying a different account from the one you use. Checking your receipts is a way to confirm that.

You can get a refund before 15 days have passed from the date of purchase. You should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

Hope it helps. 🙂
