My Question or Issue
I had Spotify set to a recurring payment through paypal. Now it says the payment did not go through and if I want to get it going again the paypal option is grayed out. I was already contemplating stopping my subscription for a variety of reason including that I have youtube subscription. Did you just make the choice for me by not accepting paypal any longer? I'm not giving you my card details
Same thing happened to me. PayPal was declined. Never happened before. I looked at my PayPal account and they didn’t even try to take it out this month. We need answers.
Oh, wow. That was quick, paypal is back as an option. Since it took hours instead of years that other problems take, I will renew this time.

I got the same Problem. It seems that this was due to the paypal outage yesterday. So when will Spotify try to charge again? Pretty annoying to be instantly downgraded to free plan...
Think you have to restart it yourself, make the payment and it will become recurring
