Prem w/hulu only works on phone

My Question or Issue:

I signed up for Premium w/Hulu. I've been able to watch Hulu on my iphone just fine. I want to watch Hulu on my ipad, however, and it won't let me log in. I did have a Hulu account at one point, and it wants me to sign in to that one. I tried uninstalling the Hulu app, but no luck. On the Spotify website, it says to 'click here' to activate, which works on my phone, but not my ipad. Are you only allowed to watch Hulu with one device? It's really frustrating me!
