Premium Family subscription - Address cannot be verified

Premium Family subscription - Address cannot be verified

Good morning everyone,

 

I'm having major trouble with the family subscription. It got automatically cancelled for my wife, due to ... not being able to verify home address.

 

Despite we've literally filled in our actual address, it simply doesn't work.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got super lucky and was able to contact someone over live chat (not sure how I managed in the end to get to the live chat).

 

The person was super nice, they understood the situation and reset something on their end. Apparently, because the email was not verified/whatever, there was kind of a familly account "lock" in place.

 

After they had reset that "lock", I was able to verify the address just fine within 10 minutes.

 

I hope this helps other folks too. 🙂

Okay so ... let it be noted ... I want a medal for being able to get back into chat. 🙂

 

Use the "Help" link on the bottom of the website.

Use the "Contact Spotify" link which only appears in the help page.

Use the "contact form" link in the "Contact Form" section of this page.

Chose your topic/category.

Press I still need help.

The pre-chat window will open asking for your name and more details.

I have the same issue but with my brother

 Please someone can help us?

I have the same issue with my parents, they got an email but they never check their account (they're in their 60s). As usual it's impossible to contact anyone in Spotify, terrible customer service!!

Do you remember how were you able to get on live chat?

I'm Having the same issue with my Wife and son, crazy as we are all sitting in the same room, but my other son was able to connect..

I am having the same problem. I changed to family spotify and nobody can connect. I am afraid to cancel the subscription and ask for it again because I am afraid my family will loose their playlists.

 

 

how to get to their live chat??
