Hello,
I changed my saved payment method on the saved payment cards page, but somehow Spotify charged from my old credit card. Even my saved payment method is shown as my newly saved credit card. I can see that my new credit card was saved as a payment method, but the receipt shows my old credit card.
I can see that even if I changed my saved payment method and credit card on the saved payment cards page, on the Account overview page, it still shows my old credit card and it is not updated when I changed my saved payment method on the correct page.
Conclusion: Even if you are saved your new payment method on the saved payment cards page, Spotify won't change the saved payment method on the Account overview page Update Plan section.
Why is this happening?
Hey @wolfaust ,
Thanks for coming to the Community.
Can you please try using an incognito browser window or another device to update your payment details?
I also recommend making sure that your new card is issued in the same country as the one set on your account, and that the card has been enabled for international online secure payments, otherwise the system might not accept the new card 🙂
Let me know how it goes.
did you delete your old card and update with your new credit card exactly? Or did you add the new information on the old card? my advice is first stop your premium membership and delete your card. Start a new subscription with your new card after the default subscription date expires. this way you will get an exact solution. 🤔
This just happened to me. I added a new card. and then deleted the old card. Still got charged on the old deleted card.
Hi there @rgecweb!
It's possible that you just saved a payment card, but didn't update your payment details. Note that the saved details don’t automatically apply to your plan. To update the payment details, go to Manage your plan on your account page.
In case you were charged both on the new card and the old one, you might have another Premium account. I recommend checking out this article for more info on how to proceed.
Cheers 🤘

My Question or Issue
I´m paying my subscription with my eliminated credit card and with the new credit card I registered. The bank ( the one I eliminated) said the commerce must notify them, to avoid a suspected fraud, if they cancel the payment.
I already check that credit card is not in my account.
Please help me.
