My Question or Issue

Spotify seems convinced that I'm sharing my account, and I'm not aware of any way to convince them that I'm not. On multiple occasions, the Spotify mobile app has prompted me with a large box (image attached) that says "It's time for everyone to have their own Premium account. Spotify Premium Family is available for more than three accounts under one room. Keep the kids tunes separate and let your library be for you." Then this morning, when I navigated to my library on iOS, there was a reminder for "Premium Duo. Two accounts, one plan. Separate libraries."

There's nobody else here using Spotify. I use it daily, on two devices, and never at the same time. Am I doing something wrong? It's true that I occasionally use Spotify for "kids tunes," but if the implication is that I need to pay for a second account to play Disney songs for my toddler, then maybe the solution is easier than I thought.

Hey @rabdill,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

I've seen those banners/pop-ups appear myself, even though I'm not sharing my account with anyone else 🙂 No need to worry about it, just click on the X or click on "Got it" to make it disappear.

Hope this helps 🙂
