Spotify is charging me for another account...

Spotify is charging me for another account...

Hi

So I my cousin wanted to do the 3 month free premium trial for spotify on her phone, so I put in my card info so she could use it and after the three months she was supposed to cancel it. Personally, I have a Premium subscription but I do the student one so I know it's $4.99 and that's the subscription that shows on my account. 

I have noticed that around the time my cousin's 3 months were up, I was getting charged a twice for Spotify, and one charge was $9.99, so I know it was not my account since I have the student fee. I asked my cousin and she says her account shows that she has the free subscription. I'm almost positive the charge has to be from an account of hers, since I have no other accounts, but how can I cancel that other subscription??

Welcome to the Community! Let's see what we can do to help.

 

It seems like your cousin has a second account. This would explain why the charges started around the time her 3 months were up. Maybe she is logged into a second Free account, so she doesn't know her Premium is still active. Have you asked her if she canceled it? Can you ask her to check out this page?
