My Question or Issue
I recently got premium however I'm still getting ads

Hey @Kurakumi,
Thanks for keeping in touch.
Based on what you've mentioned, it sounds like you may have subscribed to Spotify Plus, which is an ad-supported subscription at a lower price than Premium. You can check this in your Account Overview page here. With this subscription you get features like unlimited skips and on-demand playback.
If you'd like to subscribe to regular Premium to have all its features like ad-free listening and Offline mode, you can do so from your Account Overview page under Your plan, or from here.
Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or need anything else, the Community is here for you.
Cheers ๐
Hey @Kurakumi,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
Can you let us know if you're getting ads in playlists, albums or podcasts?
Also, is this true for all your devices - phone, computer etc.?
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Hope this helps!
Thank you for the answer,
I had logged out and back in and checked to make sure it said I has premium before coming here. I read the article however it did not help. All other premium features work except the no ads
Hi @Kurakumi,
Thank you for your clarification.
Could you send us the URI link to some of the playlists where you're hearing ads? This way we can take a better look at them.
Lastly, do you also hear ads when you're listening to an album or to your Liked songs?
Keep us posted.
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply
Here is a link to one of the playlists though it happens to all https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2VkPAyMhAWeMfkIN2NQ5SI?si=bt1sZSUOReqgdXJYfv1PNw&dl_branch=1
You can see more on my account page
I checked and it does happen when listening to Liked Songs

Hello @CarlosE,
My Spotify account credited 149.00 in GCash for a premium plan subscription but I keep getting ads. I checked my account and says there that my account is FREE. Can you please help me with this? Thank you so much.
Hey @AdonnaRiza,
Thanks for reaching out about this and welcome to the Community!
Sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your GCash paid Premium plan. It's possible that processing the payment might take a while, so we recommend you head to your receipts page to check if your payment has gone through. We'll also send you an email receipt whenever you make a payment for a new plan.
In case the payment didn't go through successfully, we suggest making sure your GCash wallet has sufficient balance and you haven't used up your daily limit (if one is set) for making purchases. If everything checks out, the first thing to do is to wait 24 hours before trying again. You can also try to make the payment via the GCash website (not the app) using an incognito window of your web browser.
If you can see that your payment went through successfully, but your account still shows as Free, you might have accidentally credited the wrong account. Try using different login details to find your Premium account.
Hope this helps. Let us know how you get on.
