Switching from personal account to family account

I am currently having a premium personal account expiring next year January. I would like to change this plan to family account so that I can add my family. I would like to know if I can get any discounts on switching or should I pause this personal account and start a new family account. Your help is highly appreciated

You can upgrade to Premium Family using your existing account at https://spotify.com/family.

Your existing Premium time should get converted into Premium Family time when switching plans, and this can bring your payment date forward.
