My Question or Issue

 I created my account through Facebook using my e-mail and password from that site. However, on my Spotify account page, it says that my primary e-mail is one that I have never seen or used. It is not mine. I tried to change it and this required my Spotify password. However, the Facebook password I use to log in to Spotify every time does not work. The e-mail I want listed on my account is the one associated with my Facebook, not some random one that people may be able to access my account with. I tried using the contact form and it said the resolution would be sent.... to the incorrect e-mail that was listed on my account page. I have no access to this. I need my e-mail updated and access to whatever my 'spotify' password is since it is apparently different than my Facebook one.

Your Spotify account should reflect the email address from your Facebook profile if you allow Spotify to use your Facebook information. So in this case, go to the Privacy settings on your account page here and switch on "Process my Facebook data".

 

Log in on your Facebook profile as well and make sure that you have granted Spotify access to your personal information.

 

Give it 48 hours and your personal information should be up-to-date. Take a look at this page if you suspect that another person has taken over your account.
