My Question or Issue

  •  I have prepaid for a year subscription for $99 which gave me 2 months for free. My year isnt up yet and I would like to switch to a family account. I am wondering if I still get my 2 months for free or where does that go?

Hey @sdf-jhg, and welcome to the community.

Hope you're doing great!

When you cancel your current subscription, you'll still have access to your Premium content until the subscription end date. In your case, once that year of Premium is over, that is when you'll be reverted to the free ad-supported version.

If you want to switch to Premium for Family while on your current plan, you'll be able to subscribe right away, but you'll be charged on a specific date.

In terms of the 2 months free, I'm unsure of that offer, if you could explain further, I'd be happy to help out.

Have a nice day 🙂

Thank you for replying!

I got an email last year saying if I pay up front for 12 months, the cost will be $99 instead of $119.88, meaning by paying for a whole year up front I got 2 months for free. The 12 months I paid for up front is done on Dec 18 of this year so I still have 3 months of Premium that are already paid for! The hubby wants to switch over to Spotify so it makes sense for us to have a family account. I am wondering how it would work by switching to a family account right now instead of waiting until Dec 18 to do so.

@sdf-jhg,

Thanks for the clarification 🙂

You should be able to start the Premium for Family plan, but your subsription end date would be moved forward because of the price difference of regular Premium and Premium for Family.
