My Question or Issue
I've recently been listening to the "Time Capsule" playlist and I see a lot (and I mean A LOT) of songs I've previously Liked that have been unliked without my knowledge. I thought this issue was resolved, but it's obviosuly not and, sorry to be so agressive about it, it seems you have no intention or ability to do so. So, could we please just have a playlist of all the songs we've ever liked so that we can manually re-add the songs that disappear (alternatively, every song I've listened to more than once)? It'd be a lot of work, but it's better than forgetting a song. You already have that data, so it seems a simple thing to implement.
Thanks!
Hey @804R,
Thanks for reaching out! We'll happily help you sort this one out.
All songs you've ever liked should appear in the playlist Liked Songs in your library. Keep in mind that if a song get's uploaded multiple times, let's say as a single, as part of an album and as a anniversary addition of the album, all these instances count as separate versions. If you've liked one, you can still get the others recommended and they'll get displayed as unliked.
If that's not the case with the tracks you have in mind, it's possible that they are saved on a different account. You can follow the steps in this guide to search for possible secondary accounts. It's also a good idea to follow the steps here and secure your Spotify Login, just in case.
Hope this was helpful for you. If you have questions, you know where to find us.
I'm having the same exact issue with my account but I have a Macbook Pro and Iphone instead. I had 1,700+ songs in my 'Liked Songs' playlist and now its dropped down to 692 songs. What's going on and how do I get all my song back. I know the songs are still available on Spotify because I was able to remember the name of 20 of the songs and re-add them back into my 'Liked Songs'. How do I find the 1,000 songs that I had in the 'Liked Songs' playlist a few days ago. I know I'm using the correct account. This is the second time this has happened and I'm getting very frustrated with this issue. I'm considering cancelling my premium family account if this isn't resolved soon.
Hi there @Ivandoodle,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!
We recommend checking the article that @Mihail sent above just so we're entirely sure that you don't have any other accounts. This is worth checking thoroughly given that your Liked songs don't get removed arbitrarily. If you do find out that you have another account, you can follow these steps to transfer your content.
We also suggest following the recommendations in this article to ensure that your account is secure.
We hope this helps. If you have any questions, give us a shout.
Cheers!
