My Question or Issue

Could someone please confirm that once I share a playlist with a friend, any song I add to this playlist afterwards will automatically update the playlist on my friend's phone too?

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Yep! Any changes you make to the shared playlist will be reflected on their end as well. They can save the playlist in their library via the (+) button for quick access.

If you want your friend to also be able to add songs to the playlist, you can share it via the Invite collaborators option, as it's what gives them editing permissions.

Tip: if they're having issues joining the playlist as a collaborator, instruct them to paste the invite link in the app's search bar or ask them to try with another device, if available.
