Album in my library won't play?

I have an album that I saved to my library that won't play anymore - does anyone know why that might be? Does it have something to do with licensing? - I used to live in Australia and now I'm in the US.

Hey there,

As you've pointed out this might be due to licensing and availability issues 🙂 
If searching for that album won't show it in the search results, it's likely not available in the the region you're currently in.

You should be able to check this on your end though - in case you (or anyone else) can see the album on the desktop app, they can right click on it to try and copy its link while holding the Ctrl button. This will shift the link to its URI counterpart. 

Once the URI is copied and in your possession, you can head over to this availability map and paste the URI in the top left corner 🙂 
It only works for albums but it will show you all the regions they are available in.

Note: Keep in mind that this tool is built by utilizing the Spotify API. It is not officially made by Spotify.
